Ways to Manually Add Password to Chrome

To manually add a password to Chrome, follow these steps:

  1. Open Chrome and go to the website for which you want to save the password.
  2. Log in to the website using your username and password.
  3. Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the Chrome window and select “Settings.”
  4. In the left menu, click “Passwords.”
  5. Under “Saved Passwords,” click the three dots next to the website for which you want to save the password.
  6. Select “Save password.”
  7. In the pop-up window, enter your password and click “Save.”

If you want to add a password for a website that you are not currently logged into, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the Chrome window and select “Settings.”
  2. In the left menu, click “Passwords.”
  3. Under “Saved Passwords,” click the three dots next to the website for which you want to save the password.
  4. Select “Add a new password.”
  5. In the pop-up window, enter the website’s URL, your username, and your password. Click “Save.”

Note: You will need to enter your Google account password to save a password in Chrome.
